Reach for Me Network Difference
While most diagnoses have a national/statewide association focused on a particular special need, Reach For Me is focused on parents and related caregivers of special-needs children as one unified group and the commonalities we share. Our hope is that we can help these parents cope over a lifetime of caregiving, regardless of the special-needs diagnosis of their child.
The goal is making caregivers’ lives easier, less stressful, less anxiety-filled, and more peaceful and rewarding. There are common experiences, knowledge and information to be gained through sharing of our own challenges with the larger community, finding hope, empowerment and inspiration to move forward. We want The Reach For Me Network to be a bridge of support and inspiration between those who care for a child with special needs.
The Reach For Me Network is not focused on finding a cure, or raising awareness or money for research for any one particular special-needs diagnosis. Rather, it is focused on providing a community to share experiences, stories and information to foster understanding, encouragement and inspiration, helping caregivers better cope with their day-to-day challenges.
